“I approached Alison for help at a low point in my relationship with food. I had just been diagnosed as Coeliac, forcing me to give up a lot of the foods I loved, and I had a number of work and life commitments resulting in me having an unhealthy relationship with food. I wanted quick and easy food, didn’t enjoy preparing food myself and was reaching for the same, generally quite sugary based food items every day. Alison is absolutely lovely. She is very empathic and not at all judgement when you discuss your diet – in my case as a vegan. As a vegan I wanted to ensure that my diet was as good as it could be especially as I’m a very lazy cook and often relied on ready processed protein. I decided to have a hair analysis to aid the nutritional side of her work which proved very beneficial. With this information she has advised of the shortfalls in my diet, suggested many options to address them. The supplements I should change and those to add to adjust the deficiencies shown. For me it has been a worthwhile experience.
